He now serves on the board of the Novo Group, a talent search company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Memphis.

Paul Green Full Biography:

Paul Green is an Industrial Organizational Psychologist with over 39 years of ongoing experience in training and consulting. He built one of the largest professional practices in the United States with an emphasis on the assessment of job candidates and coaching managers in how to conduct a job search. Over a 20 year period he conducted over 5,000 interviews for candidates of a broad range of jobs. Based on this experience, he developed the Behavioral Interviewing Seminar™, with techniques that are used today by an estimated 40% of Fortune 1,000 employers.

His writing has been published in several different formats. The Behavioral Interviewing workshop materials included a participant binder, leader’s guide, and software for developing structured interviews. His books include Get Hired: Winning Strategies To Ace The Interview (Bard Press), and Building Robust Competencies: Linking Human Resource Systems To Organizational Strategies (Jossey Bass). In addition, Paul has authored 8 management training videos on interviewing and problem solving, including an all-time best seller, as described by Fortune Magazine.

Paul’s former company, Behavioral Technology was the lead company in a Wall Street “roll up” and traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Following his tenure as a board member, he has pursued a variety of business ventures and maintained his professional life. He now serves on the board of the Novo Group, a talent search company based in Milwaukee Wisconsin, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Memphis.

Paul is the president of SkilFast Inc, a small publishing company with distribution world-wide through the National Book Network. Its mission is to publish practical, research-based information on workplace skills such as job search, interviewing, and goal setting. The target audience for these publications are individual contributors in the work place and corporate / government human resources professionals. Each book is designed to be convertible to corporate training programs and may be combined with videos, training outlines, class materials, and internet tools.

On the lighter side, Paul played Bass Guitar for the Original Mar-Vels in the 60’s. He toured for six years and played on three record releases. He currently free-lances as a musician in Memphis, Tennessee and Miramar Beach, Florida.
